Fill the Canoe School Supply Drive
Red Canoe believes every child deserves the chance to start the school year with the right tools to succeed. That's why we founded the Fill the Canoe community school supply drive. As our largest philanthropic event, Fill the Canoe is active in all of our branch communities and collectively we have raised and matched over 24,000 lbs since its inception in 2007.

Children's Miracle Network
Quality, affordable healthcare should never be a question for any parent. The CU for Kids Foundation was started here in the Northwest to challenge all credit unions to collectively raise funds for Children's Miracle Network and directly give to Children's Hospitals in our communities.
Since 1996, the staff at Red Canoe Credit Union has voluntarily raised funds for the Children's Miracle Network through our annual Hit and Giggle Golf Tournament, co-sponsored by Fibre Federal Credit Union. Since its inception, we have raised over $203,000, with 100% of these funds going directly to local Children's hospitals in our communities. We're proud of the dedication and commitment from our staff and our members to make this monumental difference in the lives of the children around us.

Canoers in the Community
Each quarter, Red Canoe awards $250 to a charity of staff choice where they volunteer. It's our way of giving back where our staff plug in.
Previous winners:
Natalie from Lending - she volunteers as the Olympic Elementary PTO treasurer.
Rod from Sales and Services - he volunteered 30 hours with Habitat for Humanity.
