Your cards are part of the VISA Secure program.

We've added an extra layer of security to Red Canoe debit and credit cards, primarily for members who shop online at certain merchants. Through the VISA Secure program, some merchants will now require a one-time passcode (OTP) request to complete select online transactions.
How it works
Select merchants and transactions will prompt a one-time passcode when you are performing certain high risk online transactions. You'll see the request pop up on your screen, and you must select whether to deliver it to your mobile phone or email. If you do not enter (or receive) the correct passcode, your transaction will not go through. Please keep your email address and mobile phone number up-to-date in Online Banking to ensure the one-time passcode reaches you.
The passcodes will not apply to most transactions. This extra authentication step is intended to keep your accounts safe. Find more information about VISA Secure here. If you have additional questions or need to update your contact information, please call us us at (800) 562-5611.
